Lorenzo Snow Enjoyed Life

Morning Glory,

Today we finished reading about Lorenzo Snow in Susan Arrington Madsen's "The Lord Needed a Prophet."  It was fun to learn that he used to invite many people into his home to have fun even though it was a small cabin with a dirt floor and the candles were sitting in "hollowed out turnip" candle holders.  They would laugh and tell jokes and stories and dance and play music.  I also thought it was so fun to learn that he had a stage built in his home so his children could entertain themselves and others with plays.

I think you would have enjoyed that.  You have loved performing on stages since you were really little and we would stop at the stage in the town square on our way home from walking to the library.  You always wanted to stop and perform something for me.

Thank you for reading with me.

Love,
Mom
