Opening Up the Door to the Light

Bright and early, as I began the tasks of the day, Morning Glory came to me with a parable idea:

"Mom, I thought of a parable.  The light in that room could be the Celestial Kingdom; Jesus opens this door (as she closed and re-opened the door)."

Then she thought of a second application to her parable:

"It could also be that when the door is closed (she completely closed the door again, asking me to imagine that there wasn't even a little crack underneath the door to let any light in) it is like someone who doesn't know about the Gospel and when the missionaries teach them, the door opens a little at a time until it opens all the way."

I am very impressed with you parable, Morning Glory.  Thank you for sharing it with me and helping start my day with even more sunshine.
