September Morning Glory Study Plan

Enhancing what she is learning at Church:

Primary lesson manual

Samuel the Lamanite: To teach the children that prophets foretold the life and mission of Jesus Christ.
The Signs in America of Jesus Christ's Birth: To teach the children that when we have faith, signs can strengthen our testimonies of Jesus Christ..
The Savior Appears to the Nephites: To strengthen each child’s testimony that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that he is our Savior, and that he lives today
Jesus Christ Teaches the Nephites the Beattitudes: To teach the children that the Beatitudes and the other truths Jesus Christ taught the Nephites can help us become more like our Heavenly Father and his Son.

While doing morning or evening tasks, I can turn on the audio version of these lessons (since Morning Glory enjoyed me doing that last month for my own study and she joined in) and try to see what MG enjoys particularly from the lesson and discuss how her teacher taught the lesson at church the past week.

Songs :
Review Choose the Right (Hymn 239),
Choose the Right Way (CS 160)
Other Songs for the Primary Program (2012 Sharing Time Outline)
Encourage her to sing them as lullabies for Lady Slipper.

Primary Scriptures:

D&C 42:29 "If thou alovest me thou shalt bserve me and ckeep all my commandments."
Create simple actions and teach Lady Slipper this scripture verse.

Continue to review Acts 2:38 and 1 Nephi 3:7 songs we composed previously.

My Goals with my Morning study time:

Review: 1 Nephi 3:7; 1 Nephi 19:23, 2 Nephi 2:25, 2 Nephi 2:27,  2 Nephi 9:28-29 ,
Helaman 5:12 Using the scripture matery memory app, other online activities, the songs we composed before for each scripture, hand clap games, etc.
Learn: 2 Nephi 28:7-9 by having Angelisa pick out the most important parts and compose a Kodaly level 1 song in solfege to help teach to Lady Slipper.

Prophet: George Albert Smith

At least on Sundays and Tuesdays: read "The Illustrated story of President George Albert Smith" by Della Mae Rasmussen and "The Lord Needed a Prophet" By Susan Arrington Madsen pages 119-138. If we read daily, three pages each day will suffice. If only on Sundays and Tuesdays, then we will need to read 11 pages each study session.
