Morning Glory,
Thank you for working so hard on your morning jobs so you could go to basketball with Dad! We decided to study our scriptures during breakfast this morning, to help you be ready to go in time, and you asked me to tell you my favorite story from the scriptures.
I have so many favorite stories I couldn't pick just one, so I told you the story of why 2 Nephi 31:20 is my favorite verse: One of my first BYU classes was Book of Mormon. The teacher gave us a list of key scriptures to memorize. While working on 2 Nephi 31:20, I learner that following the teachings of Jesus Christ are really very simple and I felt such peace and comfort knowing they I really can make it to eternal life.
Look for the simple steps in this scripture:" Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life."
What steps did you see? What does "feast" mean in this context?"
